SFRR Australasia was formed in 1988, and since that time has held 21 conferences throughout Australia and New Zealand, including 6 joint meetings with SFRR Japan.

We are offering a number of travel awards for Australasian Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows (<5 years post-Ph.D.) to attend the 17th Biennial Meeting of SFFR International in Kyoto, Japan, March 23-26, 2014 (http://sfrri2014.org).
Awards will be to a maximum of A$1,000. All applicants must be current financial members of SFRR Australasia. Please email a covering letter, abstract and CV in a single pdf document to Assoc Prof Mark Hampton, Secretary SFRR Australasia, by 31st October 2013. Recipients of the travel grants are expected to write a report for the Society newsletter.
